I am a political designer, campaigner and researcher working across social and worker movements. I’m currently finishing a masters in Political Communications at Goldsmiths.
My practice is grounded in the understanding that visuals alone cannot tackle the challenges we face. However, when design is embedded within movements, accountable to communities, and rooted in political clarity, it can contribute meaningfully to the infrastructure that enables social change.
I worked for six years on progressive political campaigns at the non-profit campaigning organisation Small Axe, where I served as a Senior Designer and campaigner. From national elections to trade union and grassroots movements, I collaborated with campaigners and activists to tell compelling stories, build power, and move people to take action.
Across my time at Goldsmiths, I have been guided by justice-oriented research approaches that recognise the need to destabilise traditional academic knowledge hierarchies and establish practices based on solidarity, humility, and long-term commitment.
As a sessional lecturer, I run workshops and seminars at Brighton University on their Designer as Citizen and Global Challenges modules, contributing to Visual Communication programmes that centre political intent and functional, impactful design.
As a freelancer, I work across disciplines in social and labour movements, joining forces with political collectives, organisations and other creatives striving to oppose injustices and fight for transformative futures.
